The Opal Bar & Lounge

Went out for an impromptu Birthday Dinner last night (Wednedsay) as we had, had some nice lunches here previously. The Lamb Shank and Publican Platter were good but the Pork stuffed with nuts etc was just that - stuffed. Barely warm, dried and tough with the soggiest nuts, it had clearly been cooked for the lunch menu or even earlier in the week and spent time in the fridge. A chef who is happy to send out a dish that should have been in the bin doesn't deserve my money or continued patronage. You lost us last night.
