Tynwald House is wonderful. The dining here is by an an amazing chef. Simular quality to a De Gestation menu . Wonderful gourmet food, sourced from local suppliers - wonderful bursts of flavour . A real find . The dining room is tastefully decorated with antique furniture, the beautiful old 2 storey house is from the 1830 era. we could not fault the experience of fine food and comfortable bedrooms . Top place needs awards!!

Visiting Tynwald, either for a casual meal or to stay overnight, is a real experience. The setting and historic buildings are magnificent as are the interiors which display the owners' love for period detail. Given that both hosts are chefs, it is not surprising that the Menu is so well suited to both the surroundings and to one's taste, and utilises locally produced ingredients. It is hard to choose what to eat, as everything on the Menu is delicious, inventive and well sized. You will not leave here feeling that you have been short-changed. The wine list is substantial and well priced.

The food at Tynwalds is outstanding, the menu is creative and produce very high quality. My entree was mussels in wine with chorizo which was extremely generous for an entree. The beer-fed beef was fabulously tender. Charming service and old-world character.

Tynwald is run by two professionals who ensure that one's stay is relaxing. The service is understated and the food is to die for.
