About The Windmill Bargara
Nestled a block from the beach in garden surrounds, stop by The Windmill Bargara on See Street for a bounty of Bundaberg’s flavours and produce. This sustainable café set in an iconic blue windmill serves up all the classics from Buddha bowls to burgers, made with ingredients straight from local farms. Expect environmentally-friendly containers and green caffeine cups to look after the planet, while the menu looks after growling stomachs with dishes such as the Windmill stack – bacon, Worcestershire glazed mushrooms, fried halloumi, poached egg, rocket and toasted sourdough. The lunch crowd is satisfied with offerings like fresh prawns on a soft brioche roll, with crisp cos lettuce and dill aioli; or a slow-cooked beef short rib burger, smokey BBQ sauce, house slaw and beer-battered chips.
