Set among the lush, thriving grounds of rolling vineyards and a panorama of the Brokenback Ranges, The Mill Restaurant plates up a refined Mod Oz menu, using seasonal Hunter Valley produce. The Mill’s smart, casual interior blends with a touch of opulence to complement its breathtaking setting, creating a versatile ambience for all occasions. Delight your palate with some of the finest food in the Hunter, put together in a spectacular modern menu by Executive Chef Angela Campbell; starting with crispy skin duck, cumquat glaze, blood orange and watercress. For the main affair, try barramundi, cannellini beans, olives, tomato and basil oil; or lamb fillet, pea and mint puree, with blackberry jus. Desserts are a must and may include molten chocolate fondant, raspberry coulis and double cream.

Not up to expectation.
For a stunning view and lavish fitout The Mill on this occasion was disappointing. Entree of lobster tail crepe certainly sounds enticing but guys, a tablespoon of lobster in the crepe ? Lamb with pea mash was tender and rested before serving and couldn’t complain but small serving with minimal pea mash. Barramundi simply tiny. One in party had dessert which was delicious. We eat out at a lot of fine dining restaurants so sometimes get what we expect but when others in part leave hungry it’s not up to par. The 2 course special was upped by a Sunday surcharge which was not mentioned.

Granted it’s a rural area with flies but please when several patrons are being bothered by flies and the restaurant has closed doors on all sides , take measures to get rid of the flies. It’s never comfortable dining if constantly shooing flies.

Great Food and Service
My partner and I will be having our wedding at Tuscany Estate in February! We are both very excited for our big day!
Over the past months we stayed few times at the property which is just delightful looking over beautiful vineyards and the back of the Estate has a spacious garden, very well looked after, with a picturesque pool and a beautiful little lake.
The Mill restaurant is also worth the visit! The food is delicious: the beef short ribs are definitely our favourite along with the salted caramel parfait.
Sami Cooke, the current wedding coordinator, is so professional and with excellent customer service and she is impeccably organized.
She has definitely made the whole wedding prep effortless for us.
Just what a bride wants !

Great Team Building!
Thank you for hosting our event. Everyone had a great time. They went in with a bit of hesitation, but came out with smile on their faces and couldn't stop talking about it. It was a chance for everybody to participate and bond with each other at the same time as gather a few hints on food preparation and table setting.

It was a great event and the service from the staff was excellent.


We ate at the Brokenback bar, there were 13 of us using the banquet menu. Food was lovely and plentiful, staff very accommodating, and the location was spectacular!


We organised The Mill Restaurant for a work fundraiser and oh my goodness... it was fantastic. As soon as the girls walked in from their wine tour they were amazed at the space and the beautiful scenery. It got even better as the lunch went on with an abundance of food coming out! I was carefully listening to all the girls and constantly heard how impressed they were with the quality and quantity of food and the service. The lunch was definitely a highlight of the girls weekend. Thank you so much Kate for how seamless you made the entire process! Please thank all your team that helped!


Best wedding venue
Hi Kate, I Just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of James and I for the amazing job you did with our wedding. I would like to say thank you very much to Estate Tuscany for all of your help in setting up the event for recently. Everything went really well and the party really enjoyed themselves. The food was excellent, we all loved the variety and we will definitely keep this venue in mind for the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed it!! The location was amazing, the staff were sensational and so helpful. The food was a bit average LOL (because we cooked it in the Masterchef challenge). Thank you for all the help you gave me.


Wonderful service & food
I was contracted to coordinate a wedding at the Tuscany Estate and The Mill Restaurant was where the reception was being held. I found the food to be absolutely delicious and the staff to be extremely friendly and very helpful. It was a great success with a very happily married couple.


Exquisite Food with a Stunning View
My Fiance and I dined at the Mill restaurant this past weekend while we were in the Hunter Valley scouting out wedding venues. We decided to stay at Tuscany Estate as this was one of our venues of choice. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by one of the many friendly staff at the hotel who showed us to our table by the window overlooking the stunning view of the vineyards and mountains. The waiter had a good knowledge of the menu and explained each dish to us in detail. I had the scallops with pork belly to start and my partner had the pork belly with seared tuna. The pork belly was out of this world, the meat just melted in your mouth and both the scallops and fish were cooked to perfection! For main we had the spatchcock and the Fish of the day which was poached salmon with squid ink risotto. Again the meat was cooked to perfection, the flavours were well balanced, everything was seasoned perfectly and the presentation was beautiful. The salmon was poached perfectly, moist, juicy and full of flavour. Hands down the best salmon we have eaten anywhere in the world. We will definitely be back here in the near future, hopefully to start planning our wedding, which will give us an excuse to eat here again. Could not recommend this restaurant more highly, if you are in the Hunter Valley it is a must!


A superbly crafted, innovative menu that was beautifully cooked. Coupled with lovely staff and a great view across the vine fields. Every mouthful was joyous and immensely satisfying.





Divine! The Mill Restaurant was the location of our wedding. We could not have asked for better.
