About The Glass Cafe

Encompassing art classes, live music and creative fare, The Glass Café on Main Street in Mittagong is the place to be seen. This fun, quirky café features local artists’ work on the walls, a bright pink tiled counter, mismatched colourful furniture and comfy couches, creating a chilled out vibe where friends gather for coffee and a good time. A work hub is also available for those who want to meet on the job and savour an all-day breakfast and lunch menu, with choices like zucchini and halloumi fritters with semi-dried tomato, avocado, labneh and dukkah. Best thing that's happened to Mittagong in years
We travel to/from Canberra multiple times a year and every time we stop at The Glass Cafe in Mittagong, it is seriously a Southern Highlands gem! The food is locally sourced, the team are friendly and fabulous - I only wish we stopped over night as their nightlife looks pretty impressive, too. Stop through, you won't be disappointed!

Southern Highlands highlight
Glass Cafe is always the first stop on our Southern Highlands sojourns. Great place for a coffee or hearty meal before hitting the Fitzroy Falls walks or exploring the region's wineries. Alpaca is the menu's starring dish, my preference is the kofta variety but my partner in crime swears by the burger. The beef burger and Reuben also rate highly, I reckon. Great coffee, great staff and a great feed.
