An experience for the senses where the valley meets Vaucluse, The Botanica on Laguna Street presents a leafy dining oasis to feed the soul inside and out. A relaxed restaurant space creates ambient dining through walls covered with plant murals and the odd peacock, along with dusky pink chairs and wooden table settings complemented by ornamental touches. Using produce from local suppliers, The Botanica's farm-to-table menu serves wholesome and organic dishes such as starters of seared scallops, corn purée, pickled cucumber and tempura fennel. For a memorable main affair, delve into miso-marinated Murray cod, pan-fried with pickled ginger, cucumber and freshly chopped chilli; before a dessert of chocolate brownie, nuts and housemade mango sorbet.
