Sorry, but disappointing
My daughter took me there the Monday after Mothers' Day, and had ordered the Wellness menu. This menu highlights, in print, "Gluten free/dairy free/ vegan." Luckily, neither of us actually required these restrictions, but had purposely ordered this Wellness menu to experience different types of food. The food arrived, and the waitress explained that as we had ordered the Wellness menu, the flour used in the scones was organic, and the carrot cake was vegan. The sandwich fillings included ham, cheese, fish, egg and the "coconut cream ' supposedly supplied with the scones was actually dairy ! Certainly, there was plenty of food and a bonus to take home the surplus.
As locals, though, we won't be returning, or recommending Tea and Niceties. God help us if we were strictly vegan, gluten free or dairy free!
