About Trattoria MK III
Those visiting or living at Tamborine Mountain head to Trattoria MK III on Main Street to find an Italo-Americano restaurant and bar loaded with classic charm. Wooden panelling, black and white tiled floors, archways and trailing greenery beckon for lingering over a classic menu showcasing pasta and pizza to tempt all tastes, best enjoyed with a glass of wine with family and friends. Start small with choices like ricotta beef meatballs with a mixed leaf salad of rocket, spinach, Parmesan and balsamic, or bruschetta topped with prosciutto, fennel and rocket; for the main, think dishes like prawns, red chilli, Parmesan, lime juice, fresh rocket and spaghetti. Perhaps pesto chicken penne hits the mark with sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts; before crème brûlée, berry compote and shortbread.

Some of the best Italian I have ever had and I have been to Italy!!
We have the Mushroom Gnocchi and the Pumpkin Pesto pastas and wow were they amazing. The gnocchi was honestly the best gnocchi I have ever had! It was so soft in the middle and melted away into you mouth. I honestly don’t know how they did it but I was to learn. As for the pumpkin pesto, the flavours on this plate were so subtle but packed such a punch!! The whole time I didn’t know which taste I wanted to have last. Other than the food your staff members were so lovely and very professional. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner!!
