About Stellina
There’s a little slice of Italy just waiting for discerning foodies at Stellina on Peterkin Street in Traralgon. Originally built in 1875 as the Star Hotel, this Gippsland dining destination pays tribute to its origins as Stellina, which translates to ‘little star’ in Italian. A love of hospitality, Italian dining and the building’s remarkable heritage keep this vision alive with an experience which captures the richness and beauty of the region. Seared scallops, cauliflower, apple and salsa verde entice to begin, followed by spaghetti carbonara with pancetta, egg yolk, Grana Padano and pepper. Perhaps delve into Bistecca scallopine for the main – eye fillet and creamy peppercorn brandy sauce – or pick up a slice of porchetta pizza with pork belly, balsamic onion and fior di latte.
