Very authentic and enjoyable breakfast
For the lovers of authentic cuisine, the Resunga Café in West Ryde offers a culinary delight unsurpassed by many. Open the door and you step inside Nepal – even at 7am in the morning.
The decorative café provides home-cooked dishes, that – true to the word – makes one feel not only welcome but, in the best sense of the term, at home.
The breakfast menu includes, surprisingly, also traditional English breakfast. Yet, the Momo – traditional Nepalese dumplings – selection is of the finest. At this early morning, we ordered coffee and a bacon & egg roll as well as spicy rice, with egg, avocado and little chicken tenders. There is a little wait as dishes are prepared fresh. It shows. The breakfast was of superb quality. This is not a place for frozen and quickly microwaved food.
The portion is generous. It truly sets one up for the day. The flavour is phenomenal.
We are already looking forward to a little trip down Victoria Road for our next lunch and dinner. The Resunga Café definitely falls into the “let’s go again” category. Well done. We salute the team at the Resunga Café. It was an exquisitely accomplished breakfast of an immense culinary delight.
