This closed-door 12-seat Chef dining venue offers cutting-edge seasonal tasting menus from five to nine courses with plant and protein-based choices in elegant surrounds sure to impress. As well as showcasing local producers, an offsite garden provides produce for dishes like beetroot with stems, leaf and Davidson plum, or mushroom, sheep’s milk, soil, fungi ferment and goats’ curd. Mains may present like Coral trout, pellucid fingerroot, essence membrane, pickle and fizz, or Wagyu, ham fat, asparagus stem, saltbush wood and kumara foliage; finish with a decadent dessert of hokey pokey, buttermilk, malt and honeycomb.
