North Queensland Cruising Yacht Club

The restaurant is located inside the local yacht club and on first impressions you would think you have landed back in the 70's. But don't be fooled into thinking they serve meals like Chicken Maryland or Rissoles and mash. The meals here are actually pretty damn good. The chef has added a few spices and really raised the bar for the other local competition. Fresh produce with zest and zing. Recommend the fish curry or the Lamb Shanks - but we would of liked to have tried more dishes. Guess we will have to return for a lunch. The place overlooks the marina so by day you should get a nice view. Friendly staff again, just what you expect for a little town like Bowen. A pleasurable night. Freaken good
