No Bones about it! This Byron Bay plant-powered tapas and cocktail bar is on a mission to save the Earth one Brussel sprout at a time. Nestled on Fletcher Street not far from the salty sea air of Main Beach, No Bones makes almost everything inhouse – no store-bought bread at this vegan restaurant, where fairy lights twinkle in the alfresco area at night, setting a chilled-out vibe in keeping with the Byron lifestyle. Choose a seat at tables clothed in quirky linen and peruse a share-style menu serving up tempters like Konjac calamari strips, with caper and dill mayo; or Korean fried chick’n, sweet and spicy gochujang sauce, pickled daikon and sesame. Larger appetites are satisfied with choices like a gourmet mushroom pizza, black truffle cashew cheese, confit garlic, pine nuts and thyme.
