Once a private investigator’s office, this renovated elegant terrace venue oozes charm with whitewashed walls, open fireplaces and an eclectic mix of accents; settle in to graze on starters like salt-aged Wagyu tacos with avocado, Chile pasilla salsa, sorrel and handmade tortillas, or char-grilled octopus, chilli oil, smoked almonds and red vein sorrel. For a memorable main, delve into Mexican fried chicken, habanero mayo, black vinegar glaze and togarashi, or sirloin steak and beef jus; before saying arriba to desserts like mandarin cheesecake, shortbread and cumquat compote.
