French fine dining in the heart of Potts Point awaits at Metisse on Roslyn Street. Nestled in the historic art deco building Barcelona, ceiling-high windows surround the dining space on three sides, giving it a light and airy feel; while statement chandeliers, polished wood floors and beautifully set tables add to an elegant ambience. Offering a premium degustation experience, expect to indulge in starters from The Journey menu like yellowfin tuna, kingfish, trout and beurre noisette; or lobster ravioli and velouté. Truffle glazed dry-aged Black Angus will entice the meat-eater within; while The Earth vegetarian option presents like Jerusalem artichoke, smoked aubergine and cauliflower puree. Divine desserts of chocolate ganache and salted caramel parfait tempt those with room to spare.

Amazing food and brilliant service
It was a pleasure dine here for our special occasion! The family love is evident at this husband, wife and daughter establishment! Every course was imaginative and delicious. Highly recommended and we will return to Sydney for this restaurant!
First rate cuisine
This is a seriously good restaurant, the food is absolutely fantastic and the sommelier was on point. The waitresses were a bit lacking in their understanding of the menu and our requests and questions but this was a very minor item when overlaid by the excellent of the food.
Unforgettable, delicious, a new favourite
The most wonderful dining experience my partner and I have ever had. We had the Journey menu along with the wine pairing. The word 'unforgettable' comes to mind when trying to describe my experience at Mètisse. It is worth every penny and your taste buds are quite literally taken on a journey. Highly recommend the wine pairing as well as it transformed the already delicious food to another level. The wait staff were wonderful and make the experience special. The owners also interact with you making the dining experience personal. Will most definitely be returning.
