Bringing new life to an old rundown historic building formerly the Kincumber Post Office, this family and pet-friendly café oozes charm from welcoming plants at the front door to the covered alfresco area out back, where trailing greenery sets the scene for laid-back dining. Co-owners Kimberley and Jacob are big believers in making everything themselves, from cakes to relishes, sauces, dressings and jam; grab a Glee coffee to go with an all-day plate of avocado smash, with marinated tomatoes, Danish feta, poached eggs and herb oil balsamic on sourdough. Perhaps wrap your hands around a Dirty Burger – bacon, fried egg, hash brown, cheese, BBQ sauce and housemade mayo, on a damper roll with a side of chips.
