A truly ambitious young chef with a dedicated team
Five courses from memory, and a bargain. I can't quite remember the name of the first dish - something like - "tuna tartare bruschetta" - not some silly fusion, but a balance of Japanese raw tuna, chopped in the fashion of French tartare, freshly dressed, topping a crisp disc. So must work put into not only the food, but in the thought behind the design of the menu, and the beautiful presentation. And a decent wine list ( with a big investment). I don't want this to sound prissy, but give this a go simply because they all deserve it. Even our waitress spoke warmly of the boss and welcomed any feedback. I doubt they're making a profit.
