Sit back and relax in CMWV Resort Restaurant, the only restaurant with an uninterrupted view of Cradle Mountain. Nestled inside CMWV Resort, this stylish restaurant serves some of the best local produce alongside Tasmania’s finest beverages in rustic surrounds of a stacked stone fireplace, wooden beamed ceilings, comfy booths and intimate tables. Select from a seasonal menu offering choices like pan-seared wallaby backstrap served with wine-poached beetroot, macadamia crème and prosciutto crumb, a Port reduction and wild shiitake mushrooms, or enjoy the open grill options including graded Wagyu, cooked over flame, served with anchovy butter. Spoil yourself with an indulgent dessert of chocolate fondant, salted caramel sauce, crushed hazelnut praline and miso ice cream.

Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is nestled in a secluded bush setting in Cradle Valley on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain, Lake St Clair National Park. Enjoy being in the hub of native plants and wildlife, as the private, cosy, self-contained cottages have been carefully sited in the natural bushland.

Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village has 45 Chalets set in small clusters, with five different floor plans designed to suit guests from singles through to large families. The Chalets have been carefully placed to maximise your privacy and comfort.
