El Karim has to be one of the best Lebanese I have ever been to. The food is exceptional and owner Faadi is always there to explain dishes to his customers. The place is always packed so book early. I recommend the Lemon Chicken and the Pomegranate Lamb.
How busy is this place? They were full on Tuesday night and we soon found out why. Luckily my friend who swears by El Karim had booked us a table. The atmosphere was fantastic and buzzing, the staff looked like they were having a great time and despite being so busy they still had time to guide us through the menu. Although my friend is an El Karim regular she wanted to know about the new specials which apparently change on a regular basis, and my God, SPECIALS they were indeed, in fact everything we had were mouth watering from the dips to the salad to the amazing haloumi and cauliflower, and those lamb and chicken skewers just melt in your mouth. We still had to try the honey and zaatar fish from the chef's specials and it was beautiful and delicate. Room for desserts anyone? You bet! How could we pass on the balaclava and Turkish delight, wash down with some mint tea. It was a wonderful evening and I am definitely converted and I will be bring my husband and the kids.
Food was excellent.
Servings were generous.
Although staff were very busy, they were very friendly and accommodating.
