Location to die for, food did not live up to it
Beautiful sunny day, lovely spot for lunch .. but the meals we ordered were disappointing. The Lamb ragu parpadelle special was very dry. The prawn, avocado and mango salad was largely tasteless - mostly undressed iceberg lettuce, the radishes lacked any peppery bite, the avocado was also fairly tasteless, and the spice mix dusted over the salad was... Unidentifiable. The prawns and mango were nice, as were the $2 oysters. Have had brekkie many times and enjoyed it but lunch left me cold
A beautiful way to spend a lazy Sunday sitting in the sun staring at the beach with great food and service. Definitely worth a stop in.
Hard to beat a coffee shop on the beach with good food and great coffee. "A sanctuary by the beach"
