Relax alfresco at the only biodynamic and carbon-neutral winery in the region, or join the lively buzz of conversation inside, where stacked stone walls, recycled timber and views of the vines from a full glass frontage await. Arrive early and enjoy a wine-tasting experience before your meal - the lunch menu has been carefully curated by Head Chef, Ben Day, using produce from the onsite biodynamic kitchen garden and paired with world-renowned Cullen wines. Think plates like Wagyu beef, vegetables, onion, watercress and horseradish, paired with a glass of 2021 Diana Madeline; before a dessert of apple compote, sorbet and crème Anglaise.
A few words from Cullen Wines Biodynamic Wine Room
Cullen Wines was the first winery in Wilyabrup, Margaret River to offer visitors a taste of local fare with their wines, as far back as 1976, when Shel Cullen started offering homemade Cornish pastries and the famous vineyard platter to welcome their visitors. The tradition of welcoming guests from all over the world with fine wine and pure local fare continues today, with the Cullen Dining Room being awarded an AGFG Chef Hat for 2023; a reflection of the reputation Cullen's has today.
Cullen Wines has five separate biodynamic kitchen gardens specifically for use in our Biodynamic Carbon Neutral Dining Room. These gardens grow over 90% of produce used in our Biodynamic four course set menu, carefully curated by Chef, Ben Day. Biodynamics means healthy, tasty, nutrient dense, food grown with natural products and using the planets to grow alive wine and food for you!
