By road, water or air, Cottage Point Inn on Anderson Place offers a magical Sydney dining experience not quickly forgotten. Set on the water in the Kur-in-gai Chase National Park, by day or night, this stylish restaurant is framed by a stunning bushland waterfront making it the ideal location for a uniquely romantic destination. Sharp service and a quality menu complement the spectacular surroundings, whether sipping a wine alfresco, or dining indoors at intimate table settings – think five and eight-course tasting menus dishing up starters like raw coral trout, fermented tuna soy, Murray Cod caviar and native sea purslane. Move on to lamb, black barley, Spring peas and saltbush, finishing indulgently with a decadent dessert of caramelised pineapple cheesecake pistachio and native limes.
A few words from Cottage Point Inn
Originally the Cottage Point boatshed and general store, an early 1950's photo set above the mantelpiece shows how it used to be. The building was converted to a restaurant in the 1970's and has been operating since.
Our philosophy is to provide an honest, modern Australian style of food served in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Complementing the menu are wines chosen for their excellence from wine growing regions predominantly in Australia & New Zealand.
