Bringing California to Sydney’s Hills district, Cheddr on Lexington Drive in Bella Vista, draws a following from locals wanting to satisfy food and drink cravings in chilled, yet chic surroundings. There’s hip hop on the stereo and a bold mural on the wall, inviting diners to pull up a bar stool or relax alfresco under market umbrellas on cool, azure blue bench seats, ready for an evening of beats and eats. Begin the Cali taste vibe with scallops and chorizo, on red chimichurri and radish salad, or share a Spanish cured meat board with housemade pickle, marinated olives and guajillo flat bread, washed down with a cranberry infused vodka cocktail.
