Perfect date night
My husband and I have had many dinners at Cafe Lyon this year and we have had wonderful food amid a buzzy yet elegant setting which is hard to find in a suburb with easy parking and safe surroundings.

Booking fault
Ended up a great night with my wife. Food fantastic and swrcice attentative ans understated. Only issue was fact that they had no record of my booking even though I had received confirmation from you that it had been accepted and another reminder email on day. Luckily they managed to fit us in.

Fabulous French food in Lindfield
Outstanding food, pretty much the best - or as good as it gets - that we've had in Australia since returning from 3 months in Paris in 2014. Very nice ambience: unfussy, but warm and quietly bustling and charming, thus convincingly evoking the atmosphere of a Parisian bistro, and, in respect of the food, good neo-bistro in style: old faves re-thought, delicious and well-presented. Well-priced and nice wine list. So great to have the formula option - fixed price for 2 or 3 courses. Well done!

With no BYO on Saturday nights, you would expect the waiters to me more attentive in refilling you glass, guess not. The latest menu online states an Asparagus Entr?e however the waiter had no idea what we were talking about. One waitress refilled my sparkling water with tap water and the other tables around us. The food courses are rushed....6 minutes after finishing our entree's our mains were on the table. Our booking was at 6pm and they wanted us to vacate by 7.45 pm which is fine, but we don't need to eat 3 courses in 40 minutes.

Cafe Leon gives you the dinning experience that you've been looking for the food is excellent everything is cooked to perfection the meats are all tender the vegetables are just cooked enough to give flavor and texture(not mush) and the deserts are to die for( even if your feeling a bit full already). This is all held up by very prompt service and enough staff so your never waiting long to be served. they are also very knowledgeable about the dishes and will usually offer water if they notice your glass is low. being a set menu its priced very reasonably for the quality and it looks like they have special nights when its cheaper. My gran could not stop going on about how nice the restaurant was and she can be particularly fussy eater at times. highly recommended for an excellent night out on all levels.

Great food at a reasonable price. Fantastic service, made the customer feel very welcome.

This is a new great little place for a good value, well cooked meal(set menu style, with 1, 2 or 3 courses). Loved the beef cheek and the tarte tartin! above all, such nice food!
