About Butcher Baker
Inspired by age-old artisan trades, Butcher Baker on Byron Street brings honest food and good times to Bangalow. Located in a heritage-style building on the main street, this trendy café boasts an in-house bakery, with the aroma of sourdough and sweet treats enticing guests through the doors. Settle in on a comfy couch and chill out under an embossed plaster ceiling and warm glow of festoon lights, while checking out a daily breakfast and lunch menu - the latter, promising to go hand in hand with a craft beer. Early guests can delve into corn and zucchini fritters, avocado, chilli jam, roast tomato, sunflower seed pesto, onion and greens; those dropping by later may opt for a slow-roasted crispy caramel pork hock banh mi, with pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, chilli and coriander.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The staff were fantastic.
Great food, amazing baked treats to go, superb coffee! Friendly happy service! Relaxed, warm ambience - I love the historical chic... and those massive floorboards!!
Fresh and delicious
Solid breakfast game. Good basics and some interesting specials/vegan and gf options. Not run of the mill. House baked breads and pastries. Authentic house smoked pastrami is the real deal. Fully licensed too!
Delicious food, outstanding coffee, extensive cold drinks menu and friendly service.
The most amazing mocha rings, great coffee, great service and mouthwatering beef burger
These peeps are absolutely professional and stand out in a sea of amateurs.
I'm vegetarian, but the pork belly thing does not upset me because all the food is treated with respect and understanding. Real quality in the many menu items for me. Usually meaty cafes have no care, serving just grub, if its not meat.
Great food, service and atmosphere
