Inspired by Napoli, Bocca Bocca on Kingsway brings true artisan pizza to Caringbah. This traditional pizza and pasta bar embraces a rustic fit-out of recycled timber, bright yellow accents and white subway tiles; while pride of place goes to the huge Marano oven, from which the tantalising aroma of wood-fired pizza wafts in the air. Say ciao to starters of housemade meatballs in a slow-cooked, rich tomato sugo, or butterflied King prawns, cherry tomatoes, olives and caramelised garlic; before picking up a slice of Bocca Bocca pizza – mozzarella, rocket, fresh ricotta, mortadella and pistachio nuts. Perhaps risotto tartufo, with black truffle and porcini mushrooms and Parmesan butter entices, or fettuccine boscaiola, mushrooms, pancetta and spring onion, in a creamy white wine sauce.
