Order a Blackbird cocktail and devour pan-fried prawns, charred garlic, lemon-infused olive oil, gremolata and toasted sourdough; perhaps salmon yakitori skewers entice, with shaved apple, edamame, teriyaki and toasted sesame. Went to the the birdcage for our 4 years anniversary and they did not disappoint. Walked in with a warm welcome and quick service. Our server, Zach was wonderful. He was there at the perfect time for a new beverage and the food came out at perfect times.
We had the karagae chicken and pork dumplings for starters which were just beautifully cooked, my partner and I were so impressed. Especially with the mains, I had the Lamb shank, the meat fell off the bone and the mash was so good, and my partner had the wagu steak, which was perfect.
Overall amazing atmosphere, service and food. Did not disappoint.

Fantastic food and great vibe
This wine bar/restaurant has excellent food. Really tasty, interesting flavors, the food is beautifully presented and at a good price. It's great value for money and they have weekly specials of Half Price Tuesday and Steak Night on Thursday, etc. They often have live music too, so it's the sort of place that you can relax in the bar or garden area, and have a drink & bar food, or go into the restaurant area for a great meal. My friends and I eat here often, it's one of our favorites.
We were served by Zac and had an amazing night. He was very friendly, efficient and clearly had a passion for his job. Amazing service and excellent aesthetic. We will be back.
