Good food but toooo expensive & wheres the "Baba Ganouj???
Really good traditional Lebanese food!!! Tabbouleh is a 10 out of 10! Humus excellent! Kafta is excellent! Staff are lovely and friendly!! Have 2 negatives........... The restaurant is called Baba Ganouj but the only Baba Ganouj you get is on the sign unless your willing to pay $14 extra to have it on the side!!! Crazy!!!???? Have eaten mixed plates all over Sydney & usually get Baba Ganouj with a mixed plate! Seems crazy to call the restaurant Baba Ganouj & then don't serve it as a staple??? 2nd negative is the price!!! OMGoodness me are you kidding??? $39 for a mixed plate with 3 skewers, small tabbouleh, humus, garlic & some pickles is just ridiculous!!! The meal cost us easily $50 more than it would have normally & we didn't order that much!! If I'm looking for some local Lebanese I would go back as the food and service was really good but only occasionally when I'm feeling cashed up as just too expensive!!!
