Our favourite Thai restaurant!
This excellent Thai restaurant has been part of the RINGWOOD NORTH community for many years, it is located on Warrandyte Rd (at the North Ringwood shops on the corner of Warrandyte Rd & Oban Rd). It's a nice little restaurant, very popular with locals and does lots of takeaways. The decor is charming, it has a small bar, and the staff are lovely (family-owned?). We have eaten at many Thai restaurants and our benchmark is the Chicken Green Curry. Aroy D's is as good as you get - beautiful flavours, not too sweet or chilli hot, tender meat and lots of fresh vegies. Our son, who cannot tolerate chilli, loves the Gai Yang (Charcoal Grilled Chicken on salad) and I can vouch it is delicious. Prices are very reasonable too.
