From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and relaxed — no pretentiousness, just seriously good food and great service.
Every dish we tried was spot on. You can tell the kitchen knows what it’s doing — packed with flavour, cooked perfectly, and presented without fuss. The menu has a great mix, whether you're after something comforting or a bit more elevated. And the drinks? Just as impressive.
The staff were friendly, switched-on, and made the whole experience feel effortless.
Honestly, it’s the only restaurant in the area worth visiting. We’ve been a few times now, and it just keeps getting better.

Our favourite easting establishment up here on the coast. Love the location, the staff and the food. As mentioned by others, it is not cheap, but it is well worth it for everything you get in the experience that is 8 @ Trinity.

The best meal ever
I can’t recommend 8 at Trinity highly enough. From the food and drinks to the amazing staff, and the amazing location. It has it all. I’ve never had a steak so delicious or a better daiquiri. We are set to return for my husbands birthday at the end of the month. It’s become a “treat yourselves” place for us

Definitely fine dining. It can be expensive but worth it and they do different deals on different days and nights it’s worth checking them out before you boo.

Unlike plenty of other places I feel it's true at 8 at Trinity.
We have been here many times over the years, and it's always very busy which goes to show they are doing something right. But the service and layout is such that you still manage to feel important and not lost in the crowd.
