When has a lunch at home on a cold winter's day been this good? I spotted the Deli while waiting for someone and left with a superb, locally made, organic rye-caraway loaf. Once you've bought that, you must do it justice and out of respect for the loaf, bought a beautiful Spanish sheep and goats cheese, an Italian salami with fennel seeds and a German smoked liverwurst which seemed to be made the old way. It tasted incredible. Out of respect for the tasty food, I stopped on the way home and bought a Perfect Storm Shiraz. Lunch was brilliant and it's been many years since I've had that type of food and actually, wholeheartedly enjoyed it - at a reasonable price too. The service was great, unpretentious and we were able to taste some of the goods before deciding to buy.
Glad we found the shop. Finally found some tasty sausages. Also love the variety of cheeses and other tasty things. Fritz goes out of his way to give a great shopping experience !
