Dine in the outback oasis of Alice Springs at Glen Helen, perched in the West MacDonnell Ranges. Stunning views and a serene ambiance make you feel a million miles from the hustle and bustle, perfect for discovering the red centre and browsing the onsite gallery, showcasing an array of Aboriginal artwork. Chef Mark Jones has carefully crafted a menu to highlight modern Australian cuisine using the freshest local produce at onsite restaurant Namatjira Gallery. An extensive beverage menu fittingly accompanies contemporary dishes – perhaps the wild-caught barramundi with mango, cauliflower puree, chat potatoes, cherry tomato and avocado lime salsa or lemon and rosemary lamb cutlets with creamy blue cheese polenta – which can be enjoyed in the comfort of the homestead or on the verandah.
Seared rare kangaroo fillet with mashed sweet potato, beetroot, apple, wasabi salsa, plum sauce and sweet potato crisps.
