The Tamarind Restaurant Overview

Set in lush rainforest near Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the award-winning Tamarind Restaurant offers stylish mod Oz dining infused with contemporary Asian twists. Executive Chef Daniel Jarrett is the force behind this restaurant, where an elegant open timber pavilion design allows guests to soak up the region’s stunning natural surrounds. Composed of a la carte, degustation and banquet options, Tamarind’s ever-changing menu excites with Asian flavours and techniques combined with effortless style and innovation. Expect a fiery Thai red curry of grilled beef with snake beans, roasted shallots, pineapple and Thai basil, or enjoy delicate confit salmon with ponzu, pickled ginger miso, quinoa, furikake and wakame followed by a decadent dessert of Valhrona chocolate torte.
