You and 3 of your closest friends will enjoy a gourmet cooking class with Terroir & Table, a unique educational experience promising delicious results. Tour locally, purchasing fresh ingredients, enjoy an oyster degustation & light lunch or wine tour followed by the cooking class; then wind down, dining on your very own dishes into the evening.

You and 3 of your closest friends will enjoy a gourmet cooking class with Terroir & Table, a unique educational experience promising delicious results.  Upon arrival in the morning, your group & the facilitators will purchase local ingredients at a nearby farm in Albany, followed by an oyster degustation and light lunch or wine tour. Returning to Denmark, there will be a break before the 4:30pm cooking class commences.  Dinner at 7:30pm will consist of your delicious results for your enjoyment until the evening closes at 9pm.  

Date: Cooking Class Prize to be scheduled for a FRIDAY only.  Redeemable for 6 months from date of prize July 15, 2011.  *Subject to availability.

Time: 10am – 9.00pm

What You're In For With Terroir & Table

Cooking class structure is as follows:

FRIDAY

• 10am TRAVEL TO ALBANY (OWN CARS) - VISIT FARM & PURCHASE PRODUCE/MEET FARMERS – VENUE TBC 

• 11.30am OYSTER DEGUSTATION – VENUE TBC 

• 12.30pm LIGHT LUNCH IN ALBANY or VISIT WINERY – VENUE TBC (please note WINE NOT INCLUDED FOR LUNCH) 

• RETURN TO DENMARK BY 3PM

• 4.30pm COMMENCE COOKING CLASS FOR EVENING MEAL - COOKING FROM WOOD-FIRED OVEN USING PRODUCE PURCHASED - VENUE TBC 

• 7.30pm GUESTS CONSUME DINNER PREPARED – evening ends for Xavier 9PM 

• LOCAL WINERY FOR EVENING WINES/IF POSSIBLE WINE MAKER TO ATTEND TO GIVE PRESENTATION WITH DINNER - WINES MATCHED TO EACH COURSE (WINE PROVIDED BY TERROIR AND TABLE - 1 BOTTLE PER PERSON)

• CLASS MUST START ON TIME (LATE ARRIVALS WILL BE REQUIRED TO START AT POINT AT WHICH CLASS HAS REACHED ON THEIR ARRIVAL) 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for Prize Winners 

Your booking is very important to us and to ensure the success of your function we need to follow certain policies and communicate them to you prior to accepting your booking request. 

• Cooking class will take place on a FRIDAY; the preferred date is subject to availability six months from July 31, 2011. 

• Preferred date booking request to be submitted in writing; and any food allergies/special requirements are to be detailed at time of lodging booking request. 

• Date changes are subject to a $100.00 administration fee. 

• Confirmation of final numbers (of guests) is to be confirmed no less than 7 days prior to your function date. 

Terroir and Table responsible for: 

• Cooking Class design and delivery 

• Mise en place and meal preparation specified closer to date 

• Acting as Host/Tour Guide 

• Co-ordinate attendance of wine makers (if possible) 

• Janette to act in support role to assist with all meal service and cooking class prep and delivery 

• Cleaning of all Terroir and Table equipment used for service and presentation of meals 

• Provision of wine at dinner will be limited to 1 bottle per person 

Terroir and Table are NOT responsible for prize winner's: 

• Travel to Great Southern 

• Accommodation 

• Transport in the region on the day of the cooking class 

• Provision of wine at lunch 

• Promotion, advertising of competition etc.
