Leading the team at View Restaurant as the Consultant Executive Chef, Matt Golinski develops menus that consolidate his knowledge and love of the producers of this beautiful Noosa region.

Matt spends a couple of days a week in the kitchen creating new seasonal recipes, so if you’re in for breakfast, lunch or dinner be sure to stop by and say hello.

Highly regarded among professional chefs, Matt creates new dishes and showcases the region with a passion for using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.
Well known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants and founded his own catering company.

Based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, he now enjoys working as a consulting chef to View Restaurant, being a regular guest chef at festivals and events and writing his popular food columns and blog. He is also an active member of the Slow Food movement and a motivational speaker.

Since 2015 Matt has been helping the Gympie Region promote itself as a world-class food destination in his role as their Food and Culinary Tourism Ambassador. He uses his knowledge of the area and it’s producers to showcase the region through cooking demonstrations and his blog "Matt Eats Gympie.”

Perched on the second floor of Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is the fresh, contemporary View by Matt Golinski restaurant. Take a moment to unwind, soaking up warm Noosa Heads sunshine and stunning beach panorama, while enjoying a cocktail or glass of wine on a terrace lounge, situated high above the treetops. A talented team crafts a menu to showcase seasonal produce grown in and around the Sunshine Coast region with an ever-changing selection of dishes to tantalise tastes. Dinner may include starters of Rhodavale Pork meatballs, chickpea puree and eggplant pickle; followed by crispy skin Coral Coast barramundi, celeriac remoulade, dried tomato tapenade and panisse. Finish by indulging in a divine dessert of grilled peach, cultured goats yoghurt sorbet, almond cake and lavender honey.
