About Wirrabara Forest
Previously known as Whites Forest, Wirrabara Forest is a short trip from South Australia's Clare Valley, where after you've wined and dined, you can come to embrace the great outdoors. Take to the many tracks within the park and enjoy spectacular natural views and, in some parts, stunning landscape scenes over the Spencer Gulf. Due to the hot temperatures during summer, it's advised to explore Wirrabara Forest during autumn and spring.
Opening Hours
The Wirrabara Forest is closed to all visitors for safety reasons, following the recent Bangor Fire. For more information and maps, visit www.forestrysa.com.au. The forest will reopen in due course.
