Henley on Todd Regatta

A boat race with no water, held up by contestants who have to run through a dry waterbed - did we mention the Henley on Todd Regatta was just one of the very typical events you will find in Alice Springs? A must for those in the Alice region during August each year, the Henley on Todd Regatta is the longest running event in the Northern Territory, defined by its dry riverbed activities, including the bath tub derby, sand skiing, battle boat spectacular and the very prestigious relay, Tour d'Todd.
