Dinosaur Stampede

Reputed to be the scene of the world's only recorded dinosaur stampede around 95 million years ago, Lark Quarry Dinosaur Walkway is a place that has quite literally made its mark in history. The first natural attraction to be listed in the National Heritage List in 2004, these grounds take you back to prehistoric times, where you can discover more than 3000 fossilised footprints embedded in the rich ochre soil. Guided tours are run daily at Lark Quarry Dinosaur Walkway, the only means by which to see these truly spectacular preservations.
