About Darling Downs Zoo
Darling Downs Zoo at Pilton displays a unique and varied collection of animals from around the globe, situated in a scenic rural setting between Toowoomba and Warwick. Observe a range of exotic and native critters who call the Darling Down's home, including the bright feathered macaws from South America, the bouncing baboons from Africa and the green iguanas from Brazil. Watch the big cat feeding with the beautiful white lions from South Africa before having your picture snapped with a scaly python. Darling Downs Zoo also has a small kiosk onsite, with the use of free zoo BBQs and seating facilities available for those who wish to picnic in the park.

We had a wonderful morning and sausage sizzle at the Darling Downs zoo to-day. The big cat guide tour was interesting and well presented. Good photo opportunities. Whilst the white lion cub was not on public dislay we did manage to see him. Good luck with the hand rearing.
Will return another day and take in full guided tour.
Recommended for a day out with the kids and/ot grandkids. Maybe just you.
Admission fee is quite reasonable.
