A few words from Black Dragon Garden Wulong Yuan

Black Dragon Garden Wulong Yuan
Beautiful Chinese garden in Howlong open for visitors.
Wander through our unique garden called Wulong Yuan which means Black Dragon Garden in Mandarin. This garden was built with the distinctive scholar gardens of Suzhou as our inspiration.
We have tried to capture the design philosophy and main elements that make these gardens unique.
Using inspiration from famous artists, writers and poets the Suzhou gardens were the way in which the owners could enjoy a symbolic natural world in their own private space.

In our garden we have arranged pavilions, pathways, water and rocks to create unfolding scenes as you wander through. The garden space is meant to maximize the flow of ‘qi' or positive energy and the design principles of Feng Shui were used to achieve this.
Enjoy a free tasting of Chinese tea.
We will be happy to help you with any enquiries you have about the gardens of China and the city of Suzhou in particular.
