Plans are underway for a purpose-built, water-front Function Centre expected to be completed by the end of 2013. Environmentally efficient, it will be a casual, open plan style building designed to “sit lightly on the site” with low impact features. The air-conditioned centre will accommodate approx 120 seated guests, or approx 200 guests in a cocktail party setting with food preparation facilities, and state-of-the art audio and visual equipment.
