Terroir & Table is a mobile catering service combining the pleasure of delicious, provincial style food and the theatre of live cooking with the convivial nature of long table dining. Former caterer for the rich & famous, Escoffier trained chef Xavier Poupel & his wife Janette cook before you at your nominated venue, serving rustic, elegantly presented fare straight from their mobile wood-fired oven to the sprawling sharing table. Terroir & Table’s three course menus incorporate only the highest quality ingredients & can be customised to suit your needs. Whether it’s for a large or small gathering, for brunch, lunch or dinner, Terroir & Table brings a unique culinary experience.

ABOUT TERROIR AND TABLE
Chef Xavier Poupel's culinary repertoire includes Fine Dining, French Bistro, Fusion and modern Australian cuisine; as well as his 'specialty-styles' of cuisine with flowers, and cuisine with truffles. So along with seasonal menu changes, a variety of styles and influences can be detected in the dishes we offer to our clients.
True to his French traditional leanings, Xavier's approach is simple: "Quality seasonal produce first, with as little manipulation as possible: the idea is to enhance not mask natural flavours."
Dishes are prepared in our mobile wood-fired oven using a variety of techniques: grilled, baked, roasted or slow cooked in our mobile wood-fired oven at your venue. And are presented either on a Provencal-style buffet or in the centre of a long table; served from a carving station or served in a combination of styles best suited to your occasion.
Terroir and Table catering offers an authentic culinary experience steeped in culture and tradition. Our cuisine is refined in terms of taste; rustic and elegantly presented; and evocative of rustic traditional dining practices which foster a more convivial and relaxed approach to the sharing of meal and leisure time.
