About Rocky Passes Estate
Nestled at the southern end of the Strathbogie Ranges, just outside Seymour, is Rocky Passes Estate – a boutique microwinery and vineyard complete with cellar door, gallery and furniture making studio. A strong artisan ethos runs through every aspect of the estate, particularly Vitto Oles’ winemaking; he applies gentle, traditional, organic and biodynamic techniques to the finest quality grapes to create Rocky Passes Estate’s unique wines, including the award-winning 2008 Estate Syrah Cabernet blend and 2007 Sugarloaf Syrah Shiraz. You can taste these in the cellar door – an earthy, romantic room evocative of Argentina’s cantinas, with adjacent courtyard – which also hosts art exhibitions, lunch on Sundays, tapas every month, regular live music, and private functions.

Open Sunday 11am-5pm, last Friday of the month from 6pm, or by appointment.
Groups & Functions
We can cater for a small function in our cellar door with approximately 16-18 seated comfortably. We can cater for up to 40 comfortably under our outside gallery and/or courtyard ... with the winery as an alternative option eg. if the weather favours indoors. Larger numbers can be accommodated with marquees of various sizes. We are licensed to serve liquor to up to 80 patrons.
