Excellent food and service. I could eat the banana pudding every day of the week. The tapas menu has something for the pickiest of eaters. The cocktails were beautifully presented and tasty. On a busy day the staff did everything they could to assist as promptly as possible. I would go back there in a heartbeat.
we will always keep coming back
Excellent views, tasty food, great service, well priced. They sell a locally produced beer here called south seas. try the pale ale. They have an abundance of outdoor rooftop space here that would be perfect to seat yourself for the afternoon and watch the waves roll in, however the evil gold coast council has not approved the DA which has left the owners trying to make do with a smaller outdoor area.Well worth a visit, esp on a sunny day
A namesake to its glorious location, Pointbreak Bar & Grill is where the waters of Burleigh Heads meet with one of the busiest oceanfront dining locations on Goodwin Terrace. Its supreme location lends to the feeling that time is of the essence, where the hours pass by from the cushioned brown wicker lounges on the sunkissed deck, or when the ocean breeze blows, indoors amongst high backed leather chairs, timber floors and chocolate brown tables. Just as impressive as the setting is Pointbreak’s menu, a well crafted compilation of coastal cocktails, tapas plates, pizzas and modern Australian fare. Duck two ways is just one of the mains you could choose from, featuring confit duck leg, grilled medium rare breast, asparagus, braised red cabbage, almond kipfler potato and clementine glaze.
