The food by head chef Philip Edwards is outstanding - his approach is innovative, creative and full flavoured. He creates food using European principles with Asian influences and it is a hit with locals. A unique addition at Verve is the blackboard cheese menu which lists around 8 to 10 cheeses from around the world – you choose the cheese you want on your platter to suit your taste.

The passion for food and wine of owner Shelly Greaves is evident, the service is professional but warm and friendly and guests quickly become regulars.

The wine list in a word is exciting, with something for everyone and at an approachable price point: wonderful back vintages, some internationals and hard-to-get wines. It was awarded a "Glass" rating with the prestigious Gourmet Traveller and FIne Wine Partners WIne Awards.

ABOUT THE CHEF AT VERVE
Chef Philip Edwards is an award-winning chef. He commenced his career in Melbourne at the famed Two Faces then went on to work with Jaqcues Reymond, the iconic Est Est Est, Luxe and Restaurant Ondine. He was lured to the Gold Coast to be Chef de Cuisine at Palazzo Versace, then head chef at Songbirds on Mt Tamborine - while he was there it was awarded Best Restaurant in Queensland and he was awarded Chef of the Year to name but a few accolades. He has been leading a large team at Moo Moo Wine Bar and Grill for the last few years to much accolade and many more awards.

Philip is excited to be back in a hands-on environment where he can tap into his vast experience to create wonderful delicious cuisine.

Excellent place, flavoured within an ambitious set of menu. In your table you will found a rare combination of fusion Mediterranean cuisine with Italian and Spanish dishes's platforms . The place provides a warm environment,painted, swirled and boosted with impeccable dress and decoration. Waitress and maitre are professionals. The best place to have a romantic dinner and to have in dining in your business oriented major clients with delicate coverage.

I dined there last night and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
The food was just a taste sensation. We had the oysters and prawns for entree then the fish of the day which was Jew fished cooked to absolute perfection. With great service to match and evne freindly patrons sitting beside us.
I will definitely be going there again
