About Tartufo Ristorante + Bar

Experience Italian food, wine and hospitality at the award-winning Tartufo Ristorante + Bar at the Emporium Complex in Fortitude Valley. The word 'tartufo' translates to truffle in Italian and indeed, a dining experience here is guaranteed to excite all senses. The Brisbane restaurant’s beautiful high ceilings, rustic wood panelling and swish leather décor is best described as classic and sophisticated Italian, as is Chef Tony Percuoco’s menu. Tartufo’s dishes draw influence from Percuoco’s hometown Naples as well as the surrounding regions of Tuscany, Umbria and Abruzzo. With dishes such as the housemade pasta with slow cooked beef and pork ragu or the sliced braised veal with tuna mayonnaise and cornichons wooing regulars, it’s easy to see why Tartufo is constantly awarded a chef’s hat.

I had the degustation menu, Great food, but the first 3 items were so small that you couldnt even taste what it was. For $90 I expected more, sorry.

My partner and myself live over an hour away, but are happy to make the trip as often as we possibly can. The standard and taste of the food are unbeatable in Australia. Tony always makes time to see how the guests have enjoyed the meal personally at the end of the night. Could not recommend highly enough. Joel

If staying in The Emporium Hotel you'll probably find yourself here for breakfast, as we did on two occasions. The menu is not huge but it doesn't need to be, they have all bases covered with everything offered from porridge to eggs to French toast and it's all delicious! I loved the buffalo mozzarella, just devine!! I'm told that dinner is great too but we didn't get there this trip, definitely next time!!
