About Tran's Restaurant
Fresh modern Vietnamese fare with a French twist has Mosman locals returning time and again to Tran's Restaurant on Military Road in Spit Junction. A warm, welcoming vibe and menu match an interest in plant-based food for Chef Lanna, who brings gluten-free and vegan options to traditional Vietnamese cooking, concentrating on fragrant herbs and fresh ingredients. A bold yellow palette and traditional accents add to the ambience, as guests settle in to enjoy starters of ginger scallops, served on a porcelain spoon with soy beans and vegetable compote. Perhaps devour lemongrass and ginger chicken, with kaffir lime leaves, chilli, tamarind and bok choy, best enjoyed with a side of steamed jasmine rice; or try fish or prawn curry in a mild coconut sauce with kaffir lime leaves and coriander.

Great Food Great Service and Great Environment. Eaten nearly all the dishes that is on the menu and just can not get enough of it. My weakness is I tend to over eat every time I'm there.
Every time I crave for "Ch? C? L? V?ng" we would drive an hour across the Harbour bridge for it. The fillet fish is fresh, fragrant married with home grown herbs, is to die for. In my recent visit, we've tried the goat curry and it looks like I will be adding it my favourite dish list. I would always finished with the black sticky rice, can't find it anywhere else in Sydney but Trans. Can't wait till my next visit.
