Don't get it. Simple cafe food. Nice but far from deserving of a hat. Went for lunch, maybe dinner is better.
Quality value for money food, great coffee, warm attentive service. A pleasure to visit.
Established in 1891, Springwood’s Oriental Hotel is home to the award-winning Ori Cafe. A warm, heritage interior belies the restaurant’s menu, a mix of well executed classics and inspired creations – intriguing plays on colours, flavours and textures that wouldn’t look out of place in a modern art gallery. Common to every dish is the freshest of market produce, sourced daily. Casual lunch options like crumbed chilli chicken burger or smoked salmon rosti with feta, semi-dried tomato and rocket pave the way for dinner, which might feature duck a la orange with truffle mash and market greens or hermit crab panna cotta paired with white asparagus, tomato, aniseed, roe, native finger lime and dragon fruit.
