About Izakaya Midori
Gold Coasters looking for a taste of plant-based Japanese cuisine head to Izakaya Midori on Woodland Drive in Reedy Creek. Say arigatou to vegan versions of everything from ramen to katsu, karaage and gyoza at this warm and welcoming eatery, where the motto of ‘be a game changer’ features in artwork and splashes of greenery add a zen-like touch. Chill out with an icy drink and peruse an extensive menu, with starters such as a deep-fried XX bucket - vegetarian spring rolls, nuggets, calamarings, edamame chips and sweet potato chips. For the main, opt for terichiki don – pan-fried chicken-ish with teriyaki sauce, mayo, salad and white soy dressing; or vegan pork katsu, wasabi tartar, rice and edamame beans. Love dumplings? Gyozaholic pan-fried dumplings and crispy wings will hit the spot.

A must do every time we travel through the Gold Coast
We live in Brisbane, and it's a hike to get to Izakaya Midori so every time we go away for a weekend we make a point of dropping in for lunch and grabbing takeaway ramen for dinner. Perfect very time - beautiful food, beautiful people, beautiful ethos.

Izakaya Midori is one of my favourite vegan restaurants on the Gold Coast. Absolutely amazing food that’s always so beautifully presented and photo worthy! Intimate atmosphere and wonderful staff - highly recommend!
I can’t recommend Izakaya Midori enough, the food, the staff, the whole atmosphere is incredible and transports you to a happy place that is worth a repeat visit. Please do yourself a favour and give the mushroom tapas a go!

I am a huge Japanese food fan and love vegan alternatives. Izakaya Midori does an amazing job at creating beautiful traditional dishes that are plant based and cruelty free. My favourite is the Midori ramen . Thank you Izakaya Midori !

Whether you’re vegan or not, this food is so incredibly delicious and I have brought non-vegan family and boyfriend and they love the food. It’s all plant based and good for your health and the environment and so much flavour. Definitely worth trying! Thank you
