About Romantic Vineyard

Romantic Vineyard is a charming and rustic boutique-style winery nestled on 20 beautiful acres of eucalyptus trees and grape vines, in the picturesque splendour of Amherst. At night you can see millions of stars twinkling out and into the universe. Dave Mitchell and Renee DeRobertis are the proud new owners of the former Scotts Hill Vineyard.

Romantic Vineyard boasts a selection of sumptuous wines at fabulous prices including their Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and Chardonnay... all grow in thier vineyards, producing first class wines made in their own boutique winery.

Unwind and escape to nature; enjoy the abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, echidna, blue tongue lizards, wallabies, frogs, cockatoos, magpies, parrots and eastern bearded dragons, are some of the wildlife you will see here.

The vineyard also houses a delightful and unique restaurant and owner/ passionate chef Renee delights guests with her magic dishes and intoxicates diners with her extensive experience. Renee grew up in the US in an Italian family where life revolved around cooking, entertaining and organic gardening. She has worked throughout the United States developing her talents in restaurant kitchens including Chicago, California, Arizona, San Antonio, Texas, and Florida.

Most recently, Renee lived in Costa Rica where she owned a restaurant and Bed and Breakfast. In addition to Mediterreanean cuisine she offers some beautiful traditional South American dishes.

If you are not ready to leave and would like to explore the Pyrenees area longer Romantic Vineyards offers comfortable and peaceful accommodation. You can spend your days sight-seeing, mountain bike riding or admiring the roses growing in the vineyard. Put it all together and you'll have an experience to remember for a long, long time!
